 Bathurst EcoPlusHome earns EnerGuide Canada rating of 96: the most energy efficient home in Atlantic Canada
The original EcoPlusHome test house in Bathurst New Brunswick earned a record-breaking 96 out of 100 on Canada’s national EnerGuide energy-efficiency rating system, making it the most energy-efficient home in Atlantic Canada.
A six-person family was invited to live in the home for a 12-month period to test the system. At the end of this period, the home had generated an excess of 1,000 kilowatt hours of surplus energy making it a true, net-zero energy home. |
